Well as you can tell I'm new here. Just wanted to say hi to everyone try to make some sort of conversations. I don't make knives but, I collect as much as possible. So it'd be cool to talk to some of you knife makers out there.

Welcome to the CKD glad to have you here. Feel free to make any inputs or ask any questions you may have, You will find this to be a very friendly place to hang out.
Right now a lot of the members are working very hard getting ready for the Blade Show, so things are a little slower here than normal.

Welcome, Stilletto -
The CKD's a good friendly place.
By way of making conversation, here's a question for you: I've always understood a stilletto to mean a blade that springs straight out of a handle; as opposed to a switchblade that swings out. However, an Eye-talian friend of mine says a stilletto is a particular style of a switchblade, with the "S" curved guard and so forth. ( We both agree a stilletto was originally a pointy medieval dagger. )
