Kind of wierd wandering around with nobody home. Did the mother ship beam them all up and forget about us?

More fun at home. Yesterday I got handles on 10 kitchen knives and today I ground 16 blades that I had already profiled, not a bad weekend's work.

Guys, I'm sorry you couldn't be with us at the Blade Show. We had a grand time. Had a nice dinner Saturday evening with lots of CKD folks- good fellowship and conversation.

I very much enjoyed the opportunity to meet and get to know some of our less accessible friends like Neil Charity and Anders Johanssen. Wonderful opportunity for lasting friendships. My son Dave was able to join us from South Carolina, and helped me man the table during the show.

I did take a few (film) pix, and will post some scans as soon as they are processed. All in all, a great weekend.

I would have liked to have been there to meet some of the names that I've been reading here. Being new to the business, I haven't had the chance to meet most of you yet.
Maybe next year.
