View Full Version : Mauricio & EDC - "Project Alpha".. :)

As many of you have seen on Duane's site, EDC & Mauricio Dobruski has teamed up to do a few limited run Projects together, the first of which is "Project Alpha".

As we've become accustomed to, the work on this piece is flawless. Stainless handles, split double inserts of Violeta Paraense (AKA - "pretty wood from Brazil"), and a wonderfully profiled blade of S30V with a killer belly, and very sharp false edge.

Really gorgeous knife, and my pictures don't do it justice....

This is A002, as Mauro, Mauricio, and Duane chose to get away from the standard CB #'s for these exclusive EDC runs, and Duane's continuing projects will be numbered in similar fashion (i.e., AXXX, BXXX, CXXX, etc).

Terrific looking blade profile, and I really can't explain how nice the wood is on these. Some extremely fine material!

I think we may have to get Terrill or Coop to do some Bali-Photography, cause this thing is really a nice looking piece!

..., and with belly to spare! :101

What a beaut!!! Dobruski's blade profiles are always my favorites... hands down (no disrespect toward Mr. Samson ;) ) Love the split inserts too. Man... that thing is just gorgeous... I don't mean to gush so much (and usually don't), but I'm in love with this thing.... :101 :101 :101
