I was very flattered to get a phone call from Wolfgang Loerchner last night, inviting me to exhibit in the Bayfield (Ontario) Art Knife show in August. Needless to say, I accepted. Was just wondering if any of our Canadian CKD brethren had ever been to it and could offer some pointers on where to stay, etc. Murray? George? Eric?

As for where to stay....I can't really help you much because I'm close enough that I just drive up. but i'm sure Murray probobly could help you out. i found this site which lists the towns accomodations it might help.

Don there is not a lot of accomodation right in Bayfield, it is a very small town. Erics link looks promising.

The show is best described as intimate, not a lot of exhibitors but it draws a respectable group of serious collectors. I have never done it myself but have visited a couple of times, I may get down this year to look around.

I think you will enjoy it, the pig roast alone is worth the trip.
