Pix and all? Was it so good that everyone is still recouperating?? Usually by now there has been at least one big report of the whole thing. Noticed no one on TKCL or Knife-list has posted either :( So everyone may be sworn to silence ;-). I will be here anxiously waitng for all the good details, and the pix of knives bought, sold and traded!

I made some comments of what I thought & got from the guild show & have had some of you look @ my msg but no one wants to talk to me. I had a great time & became a probationary member over the weekend. I went to my first meeting & am unsure what to think, but I will, if the Lord is willing, be there again next year. Met a lot of nice people, but still several that seem to be to prestigious to speak with little ole me, even though I'm not that little. There were the usual very nice people like Johnny Stout, Harvey Dean, Steve Schwarzer, Steve Dunn, Steve Jernagan, Weldon Whitley to name a few that are at in my opinion the top among many more. Glad you had a good time at the show. Those are some good folks you mentioned. Steve Dunn helped me a lot in the past and even let me come stay with him for a week and work in his shop a few years ago. I wish we could get him to hang his hat here at CKD and visit with us from time to time.

Hey everyone, Dwayne got a huge cheer from the gallery at the announcement of his acceptance into the KMG. I had a chance to look his work over personally and I'll tell you right now, it's dynamite!!!

Had a good time, I think. With only 4 hours of sleep all weekend, I'm actually not all that sure ... :)

Dwayne, It is always a pleasure to talk to you. IMHO, you make some of the finest folders I' ve ever seen! Your file work is the best !!! In addition, you are a humble and very talented individual.
