Howdy back to you.

I like the new look and feel.

Now if I could only read these pages without a magni-visor.......

In your browser go to View ( Ususally third from left) and then down to Text Size. Choose a larger size and you should not need the Magni-visor. At least it works on my browser.

using that text sizing in the browser, it only changes some of the text on the page, and not the posts at all. am I missing something? thanks....

I used the "size" function in the posting window to do the above change...

I just retried it tp make sure the steps are correct and lo and behold, you are right. It did work in the past, probably with a previous version. Sorry about the misinformation. Should have checked it first myself. I did a search for 'text on Web pages' in the browser help file and found the following information. Let me know if it helps.

Changing Web page fonts and background colors
When Web authors and designers create Web pages, they often specify particular type (font) faces, colors, sizes, and background colors. These settings are specified for each item, or in a "style sheet," which is a type of template for specifying how different styles should appear throughout a Web page or site.

You can override any or all of these settings, which is useful if you have limited or low vision. You can specify your font and color preferences for all pages that do not use style sheets, and then you can specify whether to use any or all of your preferences on pages that use style sheets.

Thanks!!! That's so cool.

For more information it's done like this:

On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.

On the General tab, click Accessibility.

Then select "Ignore font sizes on web pages".

It does effect every site I go to, but still it's better.

The first thing to do for most users is to check their display resolution. Our statistics show us that over 80% of internet visitors are using 800x600, many of the rest at 1024. This site was designed with this in mind, but we will address the font issue and give you more flexibility as we correct things here and there.

thank you, sir! as I stated in another post, that would be a wishlist item.....I'm quite sure you're busy with other issues at present. all in due time. thanks, again.

Appreciate the info! The font size was my only complaint. - Jim
