Sorry but yer gonna have to go further north if you want we`ve been experiencing quite hight temperatures lately like above 30C this darn cast gets quite itchy in these temps!:D

The way the temp is around here if I need to forge I drag the anvil outside and lay the steel on the sidewalk. Saves propane.

30 C, that's only 86 F and believe me 86F would feel like a cold spell right about now.
Ron you guys from the frozen north just think it is hot. When I went to the shop yesterday afternoon it was a balmy 104.7F.
I'll trade ya that for your 86 anyday.
And besides that the darn Grasshoppers are eating everything in sight. :(

Weeeell You DON'T want to come to Arizona to forge, I'll just leave it at that ;)

Oh almost forgot, I also screwed up the second pair of bookmatched box elder scales in two days, :(
Have to blame it on something, so it might as well be the heat.
I feel better now! :) ( especially since I am currently in my 68 degree office)

ok ok you right there are hotter places than this right now, but dang this feels hot compared to -40C winters! lol although she is a hot one today at + 35C, my shop is even hotter and where I work..I don`t even want to know! we have 2 huge oven used for rotation moldeing that run at over 600 that heats the place up usually 10 more degrees than out side! and dry!

Terry, you going to be at Little Rock next weekend?

Since the 2001 game law booklets came out yesterday, I'm sitting in the airconditioning dreaming of the fall. The one time I went outside was to listen to my dog walk over the dried leaves. If you close your eyes and cover one ear you might mistake it for a deer.
I know I'm sick! But "deer fever" has no known cure. The hotter August is the sicker I get.

Right now it looks like I won't be at Little Rock. Lots of stuff going on at the home front. Sure would like to be there with you guys. At the last one I attended I had a table with you and Reggie Barker. Boy, that was a gas. We had the livliest table in the place.

I hate this August heat. 66F here in sunny Gloucestershire!

Okay, so it was about 90F a week ago but I just thought I'd gloat

I hope the temperature stays down for a week while I go to blacksmithing school. I have only packed two t-shirts for each day, I don't think I have enough.......

Dang Don, that is hot for the North Country. We hit 108 today, but as I write this we have cooled down to a comfortable 99. :)
