Just a small report on a great show- I was one of about 20 makers at the Bayfield, Ontario show hosted by Wolfgang Loerchner. Vastly enjoyed the company (and work) of such makers as Wolfe, Bertie Reitveld, Brian Tighe, Brian Lyttle, Kevin Cashen, Jim Downie, Jose De Braga, Bud Weston, and many others. We enjoyed a delightful pig roast at Wolfe and Diane's home last evening, and I am reaffirmed in my impression that knifemakers in general are a great bunch of folks.

Had the pleasure of meeting Eric Elson and looking at some of his blades- he is doing super work with minimal equipment. Look for big things from him!

It was a pleasure to finally meet you this weekend, its too bad I didin't think enough to bring my Guitar! ( for anyone that doesen't know Don is a great guitar player!)
And I agree knifemakers are good peoples!!
I'm hoping to have a tale next year, Can't wait!
