Here is mine: http://www.theleadingedgeonline.com/Prometheus20.jpg viper5192 08-04-2001, 12:01 PM This is mine! http://www.circlepknives.com/Graphics/Knives/BUBPEANUT.jpg Bub Worrell Peanut. His damascus, Mastadon shinbone, 5 patterns of filework and 18K gold inlay on spine. Minute I got it, it went in my front pocket. Been there 5 months now! R Todd 08-04-2001, 12:10 PM I generally carry 2 knives. My current necker is a Cooper wharncliffe. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/pbe357a2f34fd0d35c13478c608bbdf53/fe5190f3.jpg.orig.jpg My pocket carry is a factory knife, so I wont show it here. Roger Gregory 08-04-2001, 03:04 PM This one goes most places with me. It's a Mike Sanders slipjoint folder. It's more acceptable to wave this around in the office or a restaurant than an Emerson! http://www.vikingdesign.co.uk/images/MSW11.jpg Aside from that I never go anywhere without a SAK of some description. Roger TMarshman 08-04-2001, 04:28 PM Gene's working on my soon-to-be EDC...:) Until then, it's been a mix of factory (mostly) and custom stuff. bandaidman1 08-04-2001, 05:56 PM Tom Mayo medium recurve TNT :) I plan on contacting Gene Osborn soon... after the shock of school tuition bills wears off ghostdog 08-05-2001, 12:04 PM Because I am at work in my own garden everyday, I carry my own garden knife, it is basically a spear point bowie of 5160. My goin' to town knife is a fixed blade hunter, 2/58 inch blade by Ralph Johnsen. ghostdog JamieK 08-05-2001, 08:42 PM DDR carbon fiber EDC of course! Usually backed up with either a high quality production folder or an Ed Caffrey EBK. Life is good. JerryO13 08-06-2001, 01:00 PM Bob Lum Large Chinese Folder! ansoknives 08-07-2001, 01:50 PM I carry a Spydercofolder...old Terzuola design....In DK it is illigal to carry fixedblades if it is not part of job or other legal activities. So I will have to wait for me getting into folders before I can carry on every day. However I use my own blades every day at home on my desk, in my shop in the garden etc cutting paper, leather wood etc. BOB28 08-07-2001, 10:21 PM AFCK I replaced the G-10 with carbon fiber. http://www.fototime.com/ftweb/bin/ft.dll/standard?pictid={0AA45B48-7E29-11D5-B816-00E0294B9BF9} Much nicer looking and better feeling! Terrill Hoffman 08-08-2001, 06:15 PM I must be nuts. I don't have just one that I carry "every" day. I have just gotten a left handed folder from Charles Marlowe that I use a good bit. But some days it may be a Jones brothers neck knife. Then on weekends I'm always in the woods. There it will depend on what gun I'm carrying.(you have to match the two together to have any taste) There it may be one from Geno Denning or Mark Hazen. With big work it is again the Jones Brothers or Mark Hazen. But I have been looking at some from Trace Rinaldi and David Dempsey. Then there is always Nick Wheeler. It looks like I'm going to need some more guns! JerryO13 08-08-2001, 06:32 PM Terrill, I understand. I should re-state that the LUM is my current EDC. I'm expecting a few new pieces soon and probably one of them will be my new EDC. Dana Acker 08-09-2001, 09:39 AM This is what I carry every day. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1274559&a=9438039&p=39914423&Sequence=9&res=high Then again, I am Neo-Tribal. Dana Acker 08-09-2001, 09:44 AM No, this is what I actually carry--an Acker Forge utility knife. 1084 forged blade, w/desert ironwood handles. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1274559&a=11256762&p=49089345&Sequence=0&res=high And for heavier duty work--an Acker Forge jungle machete. 5160 blade, linen micarta handles. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1274559&a=11256762&p=49086533&Sequence=8&res=high ansoknives 08-09-2001, 12:05 PM nice work Dana! |
