Very nicely executed bigbore - I love alternative carry systems and this is one of the best thought out I've seen and the workmanship is impeccable (that lacing up the back along the curve is not easy to get right without wrinkles - I know only too well  )
One question though - in the large picture the restraining strap is hanging off the large stud. Now I realize that the stud is removable and that the frog then slide onto the sheath - in the bottom right I see the restraining strap mounted over the guard and clipped to the small stud on the frog. My question is what does it connect to on the frog? Can you give us a pic and/or description?
And not to forget I love the patterned blade and the grip ain't half too shabby either :D - two thumbs up on the whole package!

Thanks to all for the interest.
I feel i have to apologize if i made you think i did this beauty,
sorry no, it was David Hölter, a young parttime maker over here in germany.
I introduced the knife here in the gallery (http://www.ckdforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22145)
Chuck,
i`m not sure my english is good enough but i try to explain:
In the large pic there is a beltloop hanging from the large stud,
there is no safetystrap when carry IWB.
The safetystrap is part of the adapter.
I hope this answers your question, more pics of knife and sheath
are here. (http://www.messerforum.net/_album/showalbum.php?aid=260&uuid=7)
again thanks for your kind words.

bigbore - buy David a beer for us - his work is great!
Yes you answered my question re: the large stud and strap and when I looked at picture 13 in your gallery it answered my questions about the frog strap.
Again very nicely done and sure hope to see more of David's work.!

chuck, in photo 13, is that some kind of running stitch that just goes over and under the leather ? paul

Paul - looks to me like a standard saddle stitch. The holes appear to maybe have been punched with a lacing punch at a fairly wide stitch per inch and then the thread is a fairly light weight as well - a method that will give that impression especially in a photo.
