We've been talking about this beautiful Australian wood-
Here's the latest one that I have done with it.

Me too Dogman. Are we supposed to wear special hats or tee shirts? Do you know of a source for the stuff here in the US?

That's sweet Don. Is that the natural color of the wood, or is it stained?

That's a great looking knife Don.
I'm on the ring gidgee bandwagon too. I am a big fan of any hardwood with stripes or rings. One of my favorites has always been curly or fiddleback maple. The ring gidgee reminds me of that.
I was talking with Neil Charity about it. He said it's real dense. I've got to have some it.
I didn't think to ask about the color. I was assuming that I was seeing its natural color rather than a stained wood. That's correct isn't it?

Lookin' sharp Don!!! That's one classy little knife :)
It really gets me how similar it looks to curly maple and curly Koa....very cool looking stuff! :)

Yes folks that's it's natural colour and it's a little bit denser than desert ironwood and very easy to burn.

Very nice! the wood is beautiful!
I want to try using a piece of myrtle golden fiddleback. How do you make your wood have a stand out / 3D look to it?
