Good stuff Ron. Both look really nice. That maple burl is beautiful. The handle looks like it would be very comfortable in the hand.

Very nice knives! I'm torn between which one I like the best. Great work!

Really nice lines Ron - I see a bit of "Nordic" in both. I favor the box elder over ivory - great pattern in the steel too. Looks like it could become a "best friend" to keep handy for all odd jobs.
Best - John

Just got to comment that the ivory guard and Burl handle complient each other very nicely. I am mesmerized by that usage of the ivory as a guard material. That's REALLY different. Capitalize on this fresh (for me) idea, Ron.

Ron, really nice work! What were your thoughts about forging the A-2? I've used the micarta for fittings myself. It's like putting a knife on a diet and the micarta holds up real well. Ray
