Now if your wondering why I posted this here its cause I'm thinking Roger will most likly see it here. Now for the question....

I've got a bunch of Nash Metro leaf springs and since its an English made car thought my chances of getting a quicker answer would be better. Do you have any idea as to the steel that was used to make them? There not at all simular to any US spring steel I have worked......

Okay, I wondered :D

Raymond, firstly I had no idea the Nash Metro was an English made car, it looks like every other car of its era, ugly ;) and most of them were made before me....

I know a couple of people who might have some answers but as they are gentlemen of advanced years who decline to 'steam the interweb' as they put it, I'll have to ask them in person.

Of course, this place might know: http://www.britishcarparts.org/nashmetro.html

Your right about the Metro being an ugly car. When I was a kid I thought they were kind of cute but my taste has chaged. You ought to ride in the back seat. Kind of like riding in the trunk. I'll give that 1 800 number a try on Monday. Thanks..
