Finally, after more than a year, it's done! I hope it was worth the wait. This hawk is going to Rade Hawkins. The head is 1084 and 15N20, maple handle, trimmed out with antique leather, beaver fur, authentic trade beads, and a turkey feather. Rade doesn't know it's finsihed, nor has he seen a pic (he'll likely skin me for posting it up here) but I think it came out well, and hope that he is pleased with it.

Jon, I think he will have it at the hammer in, he's going to use it to cut my ears off if I bring any stainless into his shop...I guess he's getting tired of rolling people/dogs down hills in barrels...

Ed, the hawk looks great. I only have 4, others but yours is the fanciest one yet and the only Damascus so far. I am looking forward to getting it.
