I haven't heard this being mentioned in the forums, but it's very possible I missed it......the eyes are the second thing to go....ya know! :D

I just received this little beauty, and I'm very happy with it....well made and solid! It's what I used to notch the back spacers on my Typhoons.......for openers. First thing I did when I got it was to take it all apart, remove all the casting edges and such, I added four SS allen screws to stabilize the block at the top of the shaft....it makes a big difference. Then I buffed it. Too bad I don't have access to a web page. :(

These people are very nice to do business with, and this is the best price I could find anywhere:

Panavise makes some very excellent models. I personally went with the Model 301.

As long as you have a way to get your pictures onto your computer, you do have access to a web page -- mine. Check out this thread:

I offer free picture hosting to CKD Members.

Let's see some pics!

Jamey........

Thank you very much! That was nice of you to share!

For those unfamiliar with this great little helper, the vise jaws (if that's what you want to call them :D) have a replaceable, reversible, rubber cover with a different grip pattern on each side. All in all, well worth the $56 and change!

This is what it looks like with a little TLC:

The guy I talked to at PanaVise said they're coming out with a 400 series this year that will be capable of holding rifles and pistols. He said they plan to offer a buffed version of it!!! :D

Paladin,

When you are in your album on my site, bring up the picture you want to display. Right under the picture, you'll see the direct URL to your picture. Copy that URL. Come over to the Forums, go to post a new message, and click on the IMG button. A window will pop up and you paste the URL into it. Click OK, and finish writing your message. When you preview it, you should see your picture.

One other thing -- Try to resize your pictures to no more than 600 pixels wide. It keeps us from having to scroll to the right to see all your pic.

That's a great looking little vise. I've always wanted one, but never have bought one.
