Why is it ,you don't pick up your spelling mistakes till after you've already sent it..?? I mis-spelled GEORGIA.........

Lloyd,

I checked around, but can't find any reference for Georgia Sheehan.

If she's still doing scrimshaw, she sure keeps a low profile.

I'd love to see examples of her work.

Try the request in the General Discussion Forum.

You might hit pay-dirt there.

Good luck.

Lloyd,

...Just found an address:

Gigi
P.O. Box 624
Clovis, Ca. 93613

No phone number listed.

This may be an old address, but it's a lead.

Hope this helps!

Tim

Do you think she might be 53 and living in Fresno?

I don't understand your 53 Gabe.... Gigi is a great scrimshaw artist , age has no bearing......Lloyd

I was trying to track her down for you. There is someone by that name in Fresno who is 53 years old.

Wayne......I'll make a point to get some good pictures and post them... This customer was on Safari with this Famous white hunter and they spent many nights around the fire with him telling hair raising stories about past hunts his Father had led and some that he had led...Anyway He carried this Ivory handled Machete with him that was his Fathers..So Dan traced it and asked me to duplicate it and have two Elephants Scrimshawed on the handle greeting each other the way Elephants do....

Yeah "Gigi" is still in the Fresno area if I'm not mistaken..., and you may want to try Georgia Davenport (instead of Sheehan)....

And yes.., 53 is about right...
