Hopefully this month I will get my hands on my latest order from Mike Obenauf. I was really impressed with his work. Hard to believe he has only been making knives for such a relatively short time. I got my hands on a large and a small model 1. Really liked them a lot. I wanted something a little different though, so I ordered a large and small model 1 with carbon fiber scales. I am also having him put a swedge on top. Think it may give the knife a good look. I cant wait to get them.

What do you think about the swedge? Good idea, bad idea?

How much of a swedge? 1/4 blade 1/2 blade 3/4 blade?

I usually like a 1/3 or 1/4 blade swedge. If it compliments the knife I say go fer it!

I am thinking about 1/4 blade swedge. I dont want it to look like a spear point.
