Years ago when we were much younger Tim Britton and I would occasionally meet at gun shows in North Carolina and around the Southeast. We have been friends since the 70's and Tim is one of the " Old Knife Makers". I took a different road and Tim stayed true to his profession.... along with being a great guy he's a heck of a good maker. The scrimshander on this knife is Roni Dietrich she does an outstanding job. The photo does not do the scrim justice. Tim Britton told me he will have a table at the Atlanta show....So, drop by and check out his work.......

Tim, Ron, Darren, Lee, The birdman and I are looking for more embelishment images......If you are not sure how to get them up on the forum....e-mail them to me and I will get them up for you.

Thanks
Jim

Beautiful. That engraving works really well with the birdseye damascus. Very nice work.

Nice!

Beautiful engraving and scrim work.

Jim, do you have a full-size view of the knife?

Tim

Thanks guys.......
Tim, somewhere I have a full view of the knife and I will try to find it and get it up. You guys with the big mega pixel cameras have a jump on me. I have to do some real editing to get the photos to look anywhere near passable. I mentioned above and will mention again that Roni Dietrich is the scrim artist on the Tim Britton knife. Roni is better known for her wildlife art accroding to Tim. Maybe I can get Tim Britton to get her to post some more of pictures her work. Thanks for the comments...........

I made sure I stopped by Tim 'The Professor's' table when he came to NY. You're right--he's a heck of a great man!

Nice work as always!
