Guys,

I know your busy, but there is talk of Factory knives on the CKD.

And it's in your forum!

Friends don't let friends talk about those knives on the CUSTOM KNIFE DIRECTORY!

Just say no to factory speak!

I would have to agree. Let's get back in the proper frame of mind.

I feel dirty and ashamed. :p I even got sidetracked myself. Les is right. Time to get back on track.

I will admit I was one of the instigators, properly chastised. Back to the customs we go!

Les, when your right, your right. Just don't forget it was crappy factory knives that got you to go custom

I guess we got carried away talking about custom makers involved with the factory scene. Back to our regularly scheduled programming....you all know the other appropriate sites to visit if you wanna yak non-custom stuff :)

Jerry,

Very true about crappy knives.

Dexter,

Thank you!

Feel free to shut this one down as well.

Just delete it.

Les, I'm going to leave it up a while so people understand the what and why of it.

I agree with Jerry, I'm not going to delete this thread for the newbies - to let them see what happens when you talk about the "other" knives out there :)

Personally I think people here are mature enough to know when enough's enough. Locking and deleting threads is what happens in that 'other' place..........

Hi Roger,

I agree with you. Locking down threads or moving them is not needed for those mature members we have.

It is for those members who do not understand that this is the CUSTOM Knife Directory.

This is for the people who come in from those other forums, where they either dont have a custom room. Or they are allowed to talk about factory knives in the custom room.

Jerry and Dexter are right, these new members need to understand what the CKD is about right from the start.

Yes, there is no reason to delete things. I got into quite an argument with a certain individual over some disappearing threads!

I have to agree with Les, I like this forum because it is dedicated to custom knives. I don't spend any time even thinking about factory knives anymore.
