Hey, so, I just got in this balisong which was the forum bali for USN, but it's so cool, I wanted to post it here. Chris (of 29knives) isn't on the forums (although he reads them, now... just sign up you pansy!!) - his balisongs are of the top most quality. I'll let these pictures speak for themselves (ok, the pictures aren't so great, but the balisong is!):

Absolutely Felix.., very good stuff! I just got a couple from Chris I'll post soon. Both 5.25 Inch.., and I call them "Ebony & Ivory" (since stealing everyone's ideas seems, but thanks to Paul and Stevie for the background music!

One is a Long Clip Bowie with Split Indonesian Ebony Inserts.., and the other is sort of a Wee-Hawk.., but with a "Delta Raider" recurve.., and split Elephant Ivory inserts, very nice knives, and I'm calling Chris now to thank him. :)

I'll post 'em soon with my other Olofson knives.., and then all my Darrel-Songs.. :)

Yeah, Pete, he was mentioning your knives. As your collection always leaves me drooling, I can't wait to see the latest pics! And if you talk to Chris, tell him to get off his butt and sign up here and post! :)

whv - thanks! You didn't miss it, if you're interested. Head over to USN, and look at the thread. :)

Oh, btw everyone, his website can now be reached at in addition to the overly long .

The handles are a thing of beauty but the blade is:confused:...

Heh, the blade is a bit radical, especially from Chris' norm - it ain't for everyone. But hey, change is good. :)

Congrats on the great lookin' 29 Felix! I like that tactical looking blade! Bet those handles are nice and grippy when flippin'.

That's not an easy blade grind to pull off well. So, while it may appeal to you aestheically, at the very least, you should be able to appreciate the level of skill needed to pull it off.

hey... im not doubting the skill... im sure i couldnt do that myself so ofcoarse i respect the skill taken to make the knife...
