"cheep"

must be looking for a knife going for a song?

are you in the market?

what materials do you want?

who is the maker to be>

how cheep is cheap?

I have a sidelock by WD Pease that has been carried and used with a small chip in the rear of the red jigbone scales that I could part with.

Also have an unused in new conditon lockback by Ron Post that has the look of a Jess Horn and has black linen micarta scales with 440c blade. Very nice action on this knife.

These are both part of a collection.

Schrade Uncle Henry LB 7. Strong, tight, old faithful, no gadgets, available everywhere for about $30..Used ones for $10-20, clean up nice, last forever. Just sold one I've had for 10 years, gotta get another. Unlike knives that are too pretty to use (heresy !!), the LB 7 come out all the time, for everything. Wish they had a lanyard hole.

Jens, that is just what I was going to say. What exactly do you mean by cheap? Are you looking for an inexpensive custom?

Even so...for a production knife - the only 'cheap' sort I know - CRKT offers the best value going. Custom knives are not 'cheap' - but they're worth owning.
