I have everything from his early stuff to a NICE Engle model WD-6, we were room mates in college and are still close friends to this day....In my opinion clearly the best in the business, and will be for many moons.
Buying his handmade products is clearly an excellent choice, you will not be disappointed.

Bet I know what this is about. The WD-6 is a model designation William "Bill" Engle (Boonville, MO) uses. He's working on a knife set for me now but a while back I initiated a thread on this (CKD) site asking "Who is William Engle?" Maybe bluesky thought he was replying to me. Apologies if I'm in error with this info. Anyway, Bill is a real character and recent Point Seven photos in two of the knife mags have generated another period of his getting flooded with requests from folks like me (us). Glad I got my request in early!
