I hope this works , if it does I need to thank Chuck at Wild Rose for letting me use his web hosting. I might be getting too old for all this computer stuff. Anyway the last two sheaths I made , I call a modified mexican loop sheath. they are made out of one piece of leather and tied together in front with a leather thong. I've been doing this hand stitched sheath thing for the last 3 years and am mostly self taught except for a little help from the Barney Loveless book "How To Make Knives".

Terry -- use the square, lower case, brackets [.....], and insert a backspace in the image closing brackets [/img]
See if my fix works
Now to the sheaths -- I love that design ! Really sets up well with htose 2 knives, fine looking rigs indeed. Does the waist collar hold the belt-loop in place, or is it only decorative? Great work :D

MtMike, Thanks, the belt loop is held only by the wrap around waiste loop. It might look better if it were sewed or riveted but I decided to use this design and keep the one piece look and use the rough side of the leather for the wrap around part. I guess there's nothing much new in the way of sheath design but I kind of like it, and most of my customers do to. I'll get this photo link business figured out sooner or later. By the way the knives have moose antler and olive wood handles.:D

Terry -- I know that design isn't uncommon in double-seamed sheaths, but I haven't seen it before in a pouch style -- I like it a lot.
