This would be helpful. Any time I've tried it gives me the message that it's not activated or disabled. What up?

EZ board search engine sucks. That is the best and probably the only answer you will get from anyone. If I need to find an old topic, I start clicking until I find it or give up. If you want to find a topic but are unsure if it was ever discussed, just ask and if it was brought up before someone might remember which forum it was in and tell you, then you can "Start clicking until you find it."

Now, if this move that has been discussed before ever happens I would bet this would be a feature Alex and company would look hard at.

Bob's right. The search "feature" is just as useful when disabled as it was when it was up and running. In computer geek, the EzBoard search engine would be referred to as a "kludge".

Just for kicks, I once did a search for a topic that could see right in front of me, and it came back saying that it could not find any matches.
