Hi all

I am working on a Damascus knife that I forged. I think I want to try to make a nickel silver sheath for it. What I am trying to figure out is how the frog button is used. I am assuming that it attaches to some sort of leather rig that is on the belt. But you can guess what happens every time I assume. Does anyone have a picture or can anyone explain how this is supposed to work?

Thanks
Brian

Brian-

Go to http://www.google.com and type in bayonet frogs as a search. Came up with a whole bunch of pages.

Here is a link to one with good photos.

Hope this helps. Looks pretty fascinating.
