Bloodroot Blades
My first post showing some recent work. Check us out at I've been forging blades since I was a small child and do all forging by hand. David Van Wyk is now working with me and we primarily make kitchen and butcher knives, but like it all.

Cross-tang integral petty.
Integrals, all shapes and sizes.

Small 5" Japanese petty, zebrawood and buffalo horn, L6 blade.
8" santoku and paring. Jittery Joes coffeebag laminate handles we make, mustard patinas.

8" German chef with brass bolsters and two-tone Pau Rosa handle. Forged from a Nicholson file with filemarks retained on the spine.
8" tapered chef with mustard patina. Our Jittery Joes coffeebag handles and forged copper bolsters from a 1942 U-boat victim shipwreck.
