Through my varied personal and professional experiences I have realized the tremendous value a properly constructed blade may have. This is why so many of my resources have been dedicated over the years to learning about and crafting the best edged tools I possibly can. I obtained my Journeyman Smith rating from the American Bladesmith Society in 2001 and I am currently working on earning my Master Smith stamp.

I have a personal preference for blades that balance performance, dependability, and aesthetics. My work is sole authorship. I prefer natural materials for handles and work in high carbon steel as well as forging my own damascus. Each blade is hand forged before being further refined through grinding and hand filing. Each blade is individually heat treated and tested using methods that best suit the style of blade and type of steel used. Abrasives are then used to produce a hand rubbed finish. I gladly offer my work to those who may want to share in what a great blade should be.
